Hi, I’m Gabby, the founder of It’s a God Idea, a God-led business rooted in faith, purpose, and creativity. My mission is to build a community of like-minded believers who boldly live out their faith and share the love of Jesus Christ. I believe that as children of God, we’re called to be vessels for the gospel. This brand was created to do just that, to glorify God, spark meaningful conversations, and reflect His love through wearable faith-based designs.

How it all started 

In July 2018, I made my very first t-shirt using a Cricut machine. What started as a personal hobby quickly became my creative outlet. I began designing everything I could, from stickers and cups to logos and t-shirts, simply for the joy of creating.

During that same season, I started my journey back to Christ. I didn’t yet have the confidence to walk into a church, so I began watching services online and taking notes to carry me through the week. Over time, those notes helped me to grow my relationship with God became my study tool, my encouragement, and eventually the inspiration behind my first faith-based design: "God is in the center of everything."

In January 2021, after lots of prayer and a loving push from my best friend, I finally stepped into a church building for the first time in years. That step of faith opened doors I never imagined.

 

The Birth of His Vision

 

In April 2021, God placed the name It’s a God Idea on my heart, along with a clear calling to start a t-shirt business. At first, I tried to go my own way, creating cups, bracelets, and even necklaces but God kept reminding me of the plan He had already given me. Over and over, He brought me back to Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

That promise fueled my faith and renewed my focus. I committed to the vision, trusted His plan, and poured my heart into designing faith-based apparel that speaks life, spreads hope, and glorifies God.

Today, It’s a God Idea is more than just a brand it’s a movement of believers who wear their faith proudly and boldly. Every design is created with intention, rooted in scripture, and inspired by the journey God continues to take me on.
